MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Regional Maintenance Training Manager. This role delivers an array of maintenance training content for divisional fleet technicians on all aspects of diagnosis and repair for maintenance quality improvements and safety for our fleet of vehicles/buses. This role is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing technical training programs for maintenance personnel across our Los Angeles locations. The ideal candidate demonstrates an advanced ability to transfer concepts from ideas to observable actions, brings hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to tailor training for various skill levels and fleet technologies.  CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR LOS ANGELES, CA.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deliver hands-on and classroom training for fleet maintenance technicians
• Standardize training content across our Los Angeles locations to ensure consistency and compliance with company, OEM, and regulatory standards
• Evaluate technician performance and determine training needs through audits, assessments, and feedback
• Track training metrics and maintain training records
• Stay current on industry standards, technologies, and tools, to include EVs and alternative fuels

Talent Requirements:

• Candidate must live in or near Los Angeles, CA
• At least five (5) years of experience in fleet maintenance and/or heavy duty repair
• At least three (3) years of experience in a technical training role
• Demonstrated comfort in leveraging technology to enhance learning and support key messages 
• Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills with both small groups or a large audience
• Excellent knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical, air systems, air conditioning, chassis, electronics controls to develop training content in these areas. 
• ASE Certification or OEM certifications/training credentials a plus

Starting Salary Range:  $102,000 - $107,800
