Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking a highly detailed Regional Maintenance Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and drive the quality and compliance standards across our Los Angeles maintenance divisions. This role requires strong project management skills to lead initiatives, implement process improvements, and ensure alignment with regulatory, safety, and company maintenance standards. A Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.) is a plus but not required. CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR LOS ANGELES, CA.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage QA-related projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventative action plans for maintenance-related issues.
  • Collaborate across teams to standardize procedures and improve work quality.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, OEM specifications, and applicable regulations (e.g., OSHA, FTA).
  • Facilitate audits and inspections.
  • Ensure proper documentation when tasks are worked over multiple shifts or with multiple personnel.
  • Preform inspection of client files, fleet records, fluid sample records and sampling procedures, training records, fleet watch records, and DVIR records. 
  • Must be able to meet timelines. 
  • Must have good communication skills. 

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma; college degree preferred
  • Must live in or near Los Angeles, CA
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Project Management, Industrial Management, Maintenance Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of maintenance processes and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver on time
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Clean motor vehicle report
  • Ability to work equally in a team environment and individually
  • Strong computer skills – windows-based computer operating systems and Microsoft Office packages. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 

Starting Salary Range:  $100,000 - $110,200
