Minimum Education & Eligibility
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean, safe, and verifiable driving record suitable for operating company vehicles.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to follow instructions, complete documentation, and communicate with team members and supervisors.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across all vehicles and bus shelters.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Reliable time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines.
- Basic mechanical awareness to identify obvious vehicle issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs during fueling and cleaning.
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment, power washers, and basic hand tools.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work around cleaning chemicals, fuel, and equipment while following all safety protocols.
- Capable of safely maneuvering buses and service vehicles within the yard and designated areas.
Work Schedule & Professional Expectations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and customer‑ready transit environment.
- Ability to follow established procedures, maintain accurate logs, and communicate issues promptly and clearly.
Starting pay rate: $23.45/hour
