Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking an Administrative Supervisor who will create and modify moderate to complex Excel documents in support of paratransit services. Typical duties include conducting data analysis; preparing recommendations, analyzing data for special projects, and reporting on Operation Control Center (OCC) performance to the client.   Must be highly proficient with MS Excel as a measuring tools for analysis of metrics and for the goal of performance improvements. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provides support for long-range and short-range paratransit activities, real-time data reporting, system performance, and in the preparing of reports. 
  • Work with a multiple of data sources and data reports. Maintain reports across multiple platforms including monitoring and maintaining data in Excel and internal systems. 
  • Manage assigned projects, which may include preparing and reviewing scopes of work; monitoring contract compliance and timelines; preparing status reports; attending project-related meetings; conducting research; and monitoring or performing special projects. 
  • Create custom informational and statistical reports to monitor adherence to contractual standards and performance measures, and to ensure compliance with applicable goals. 

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • Must have three (3) to five (5) years (minimum) experience within a large corporation/company. ADA para-transit service, call center, public transportation experience highly desired. 
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, but may be substituted with five (5) additional years of public transit experience. 
  • Proficiency in Trapeze PASS is desired; additional advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and meet department objectives in a fast-paced environment and under high pressure situations. 
  • Previous experience satisfactorily resolving complex work issues along with solid decision-making skills. 
  • Knowledge of the DC Metro area and local traffic patterns. 
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing work demands. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
